Free Radiohead album
Radiohead is letting fans download their forthcoming album "In Rainbows" off their website, leaving it up to us to fill in a virtual collection plate with whatever price deemed appropriate.
I would have stolen it fair and square off the web in a few weeks, but hey Thom Yorke and buddies are such nice guys, appreciative of their geeky and poor internet fanbase, don't they deserve a few of my spare pounds and pence? It'll be interesting to see how this experiment turns out financially for one of the biggest bands on the planet -- guys who have the capital to wager on the generosity of a remorseless, digitally thieving population.
